APPLE CIDER LOCKUP
Developing campaign lockups was one of the more challenging projects I worked on during my internship. For the “Apple Cider” lockup, I worked alongside Senior Graphic Designer Kevin Mabey to develop and refine the design, balancing creative exploration with Krispy Kreme’s established brand guidelines. The final design was reviewed and approved by the Chief Brand & Product Officer before being used in the campaign. Working through this process gave me the opportunity to contribute to a design that went through multiple levels of creative review and approval.
EMAIL MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL DESIGN
Throughout my internship, I worked on a variety of digital marketing assets, including email layouts, promotional graphics, and customer-facing campaign content. Each project called for a different visual approach depending on the promotion, audience, and message. Working within Krispy Kreme’s established brand system, I focused on creating designs that felt engaging while keeping the offer and key information clear and easy to follow. From limited-time promotions and loyalty campaigns to seasonal content and brand partnerships, I adapted the visual direction to give each campaign its own look while maintaining a consistent Krispy Kreme presence.
IN-STORE POP CONCEPT VISUALIZATIONS
Alongside my digital marketing work, I created concept mockups for in-store point-of-purchase displays. Using existing store fixtures and display structures, I applied promotional graphics and branding to visualize how new campaigns could look within the retail environment. These mockups helped present the designs in a realistic setting before production, showing how the messaging, product imagery, and brand elements would come together in-store.
LIFESTYLE MERCHANDISE EXPLORATION
One of the more unique projects I worked on was exploring how Krispy Kreme’s visual identity could translate into apparel and lifestyle merchandise. I developed concepts across clothing, accessories, and branded products, experimenting with different graphics and creative directions while staying connected to the brand. The project gave me the freedom to push Krispy Kreme’s identity beyond traditional marketing and explore how its visual language could work in a more fashion-forward and lifestyle-focused space.
SOCIAL MEDIA & INSTAGRAM STORIES
As part of Krispy Kreme's digital marketing efforts, I created interactive social media content focused on driving engagement and encouraging audience participation. These posts explored creative ways to present promotional messaging while making the brand experience more interactive and engaging.
For limited-time offer (LTO) doughnut launches, I supported the social media team by adapting campaign assets created by Senior Designer Mikala Peek for Instagram Stories and other promotional content. This involved preparing assets for different platforms while ensuring a consistent look and feel across digital channels.
